Wattle Grove Speckle Park Sale
Saturday 13 October 2018
Auction 1pm
273 O’Connell Road, Oberon, NSW
Open Day September 29 at Allora QLD
Welcome to Wattle Grove where the two things we are passionate about are Speckle Park Cattle and family
Wow, where did that year go! Can you believe it is that time of the year again, time for the Annual Wattle Grove Speckle Park Sale. 2018 has again been a very successful year for Wattle Grove and we feel extremely grateful for all the opportunities we have had this year to spread the Speckle Park story and sell our cattle.
This being our third sale of the year we have been acutely aware of making sure the quality and consistency of the offering is up to our own exacting standards. The cattle we are offering have been selected for their structural soundness, proven genetic performance and suitability for both commercial and purebred operations. There are bulls ready to go to work and younger yearling bulls. Similarly, in the females there are heifers ready to join and younger heifers to introduce into your program.
Of particular interest will be the “Pick of Putnam” pen where the successful bidder has the opportunity to purchase one of five 2015 drop top class pregnancy tested and in calf females. Codiak Putnam GNK 61Y has been one of the most consistent and true to type sires to come out of Canada and this opportunity is definitely an exciting way to start or continue your Speckle Park herd. We are also offering tried and true genetic packages and for the first time will be offering embryos qualified for New Zealand.
The breed as a whole is gaining enormous traction in the worldwide beef industry. Feedlotters are asking their clients to purchase Speckle Park bulls. The progeny
convert and finish quickly and efficiently. Speckle Park infused cattle are gaining premiums in the saleyards and online livestock auctions. It is exciting times and we welcome you to our Sale to consolidate or create your own Speckle Park story.
