Wattle Grove 2018 Annual Speckle Park Sale Results

Wow. Well, as the dust settles on another amazing sale at Wattle Grove, We have so many people to thank. And some Speckle Park Sale results to share.To Steve, Trav, Brendan and BB who were with us all sale week and then transported cattle back to Qld. To our families, and especially our kids, who did an amazing job of everything they were asked to do. To Codiak Acres who provide us with phenomenal genetics, support and friendship. To Michael, Jodie, Butch, Lincoln and Cody from Glasser Total Sales Management and Chris from Elite Livestock Auctions for your professionalism, enthusiasm and support for our sale and program. And, last but certainly not least, to you the purchasers, under-bidders and supporters of our program. Without you we don't have a sale. The distances travelled and the genuine support we receive are humbling, and we are so very grateful.

For those that couldn't make it, the sale results were:

23 Bulls averaged $12,891, with a top of $25,000 for Lot 11 Wattle Grove Wizard N68 (pictured) sold to Outback Speckle Park, Nyngan.      15 Females averaged $11,766 with a top of $20,000 for Lot 24 Pick of the Putnams. Wanda Vale Pastoral, Galston, chose Wattle Grove 61Y Amanda L261 (pictured) to join their expanding Speckle Park stud program.

As anyone that breeds cattle and holds cattle sales will know, it isn't always easy. And it doesn't always flow. But it certainly felt like it was a special day on Saturday. We thank you all for being a part of it.
