November 2021 update
So it’s 52 days till Christmas and 58 days until we say goodbye to 2021 and hello 2022. Yep, that’s my most recent way of saying holy wow where has the year gone! And what a year it has been. We are incredibly grateful for the year we have had and the enormous support that has been shown for our program and our cattle. Four sales in ten months is an huge undertaking and we certainly couldn’t have done it without the amazing team we have, huge thanks to them all and to you for your continued support and faith in our cattle. We are very much looking forward to a few months of quieter times and perhaps even a holiday.

2021 Sale Wattle Grove Speckle Park Sale Results
Huge thanks to all the those that braved the weather to attend our sale and also our online bidders. Congratulations to the successful purchasers and thank you to the under-bidders, without you there is no sale. Thanks also to Lincoln McKinlay and the Elders Bathurst team, Libby and Chris from Elite Livestock Auctions, Struan-studstocksales.com and our huge team of helpers and family. It was a great day to sell great cattle to great people and have a good time doing it.
The results:
28/28 bulls sold to $30,000 twice (Lot 5 – Wattle Grove N58 Tractor Q116 to Gotcha Speckle Park, Dumaresq Island, NSW & Lot 9 – Wattle Grove Galaxy R110 to a Taree, NSW Syndicate). Averaging $13,107.
20/20 stud heifers sold to a world record $75,000 (Lot 48 – Wattle Grove P503 Cara S101) purchased by Ivery Downs Cattle Co.). Averaging $21,700.
24/24 PTIC commercial cows sold to a top of $6,250. Averaging $5,438.
11/11 young commercial heifers sold to a top of $3,000. Averaging $2,727.
4/4 Semen lots sold to a top of $5,500 per package. Averaging $4,250.
4/4 Embryos packages sold to a top of $4,000 per embryo. Averaging $2,563 per embryo.
