A huge welcome to all our new subscribers, thank you for joining us to find out about our program, what we've been up to and the events we have coming up.

How has your calving been? It has been a very wet and cold winter in Oberon and calving has tested both the team and the cattle. It has highlighted the importance of nutrition and keeping a good supply of high quality dry feed available to keep both mum's and bubs full and warm. This year we are calving down 50plus heifers and whilst it is exciting to see this new generation of keepers produce, calving heifers does have it's challenges and they have certainly kept the team busy. Thankfully as the season progresses they seem to be getting the hang of it and it is wonderful to see all the new babies enjoying the odd sunny day that we have.

The Triple Treat Sale prep is well underway with photos and videos happening this weekend. We have been very much enjoying watching the Olympics. Who knew we as a family were so interested in synchronised diving ;-) And mornings are a race to see who can provide the updates the quickest! Maxie is always on it. What's been your favourite moment so far? Mine is watching Jess Fox win in the K1-Canoe Slalom. So much joy and relief. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie Oi, Oi, Oi!!!

August is looking huge according to the calendar with calving, sale photos and videos, semen collection, Ekka and Agquip.

Agquip is always a huge event. Tickets are now available and you can save up to 30% by pre-purchasing tickets from the Ag-quip website. If you are attending come and say hi at site: J/33

And of course the countdown to our much anticipated Triple Treat Sale is on-37 days to go. We will have 40+ purebred bulls, 20+ purebred ready to join heifers, exclusive and elusive genetic packages plus commercial steers and heifers. The quality of the cattle is definitely worth waiting for. Sale day 3pm, 6th September 2024-Toowoomba Showgrounds and online with Stocklive Elite and Auctions Plus.
